The form already sleeps within the clay—waiting to be uncovered. Like a ritual of excavation, my hands work stubbornly inward, carving motion into stillness, until the piece emerges whole. The process is both performance and surrender: a dialogue between maker and material that ends only when the object declares itself complete.
